Our Story
We are a Team of Volunteers who have dedicated our time, energy and resources to coaching young people and imparting them with crucial lifeskills. Launched in November 2017 by Benson Kabugi Wamwea, the company draws its name from its founder and lead coach, Coach Ben. Coach Ben achieves its objectives through organizing and executing Youth Leadership Camps every school holiday. The target audience is teenagers in upper primary school, high school and junior years in university

Activities
COMMUNITY SERVICE
Giving back to society is one of the key responsibilities of an effective leader. Coach Ben seeks to encourage community service through participation in Basket Brigades. Basket Brigades were started by world renown leadership guru, Tony Robbins. Through Basket brigades, teens are able to compile baskets of love, which include various gifts such as foodstuff, books and clothes, all which are given to different underprivileged groups, be it the homeless, orphaned or incarcerated. By giving, various values such as generosity, selflessness and service are inculcated.
SCHOOL TALKS
At the invitation of school administration heads, Coach Ben has delivered various speaking sessions to a wide number of high schools and primary schools across Kenya. A passionate speaker, Coach Ben uses these opportunities to challenge young leaders to embrace their own stories, and to use their unique set of circumstances to not only better themselves, but also to inspire others in the process. These motivational talks are meant to uplift students and are in keeping with the Company’s tagline: Aspire. Achieve. Inspire.
EXCHANGE PROGRAMS
Coach Ben is a Coach at various international conferences, among them, the Global Youth Leadership Summit and the Alakaí Youth Leadership Academy. GYLS is organized by the Tony Robbins Foundation and usually takes place every summer at the University of California San Diego, USA. Since 2009, Coach Ben has been instrumental, through other organizations, in sending Kenyan teens to be ambassadors at GYLS. By exposing East African teens to these opportunities, Coach Ben seeks to open up their minds to the various opportunities that are available outside of their natural home environments and to get them to think more creatively in order to remain relevant in a world that is quickly shrinking into a global village.
LEADERSHIP SYMPOSIA
These day long events are usually targeted at select participating schools, which are invited to bring their prefects to discuss various issues that affect their daily lives. The aim of this is to come up with student centered solutions for issues in school, as well as impacting the young leaders with effective skills in managing their fellow students, setting goals and achieving them as well as motivating their peers to achieve their objectives.
LEADERSHIP CAMPS
These are usually 4-day events that bring together teens from all over Kenya and beyond to a leadership boot camp experience. We invite teens from different high schools across the East African region, who have demonstrated excellence in leadership or an active pursuit to betterment of their talents. We take these teens through a journey of selfdiscovery that ultimately leads them to arrive at the very core of understanding their Purpose in life, and how to align themselves to achieve it in the most efficient manner. We do this through motivational talks, group discussions, team activities and other forms of training that seek to address various key topics among them: • Identity • Self esteem • Attitude • Goal setting • Communication • Leadership
